Tortuga Island is one of the most popular destinations in the central Pacific, known for its incredible beauty, exquisite warm waters, white sand beach and tropical palm trees. It is located in the province of Puntarenas, situated off the tip of Nicoya Peninsula. Just a 45min boat ride away from Los Sueños Marina, this amazing paradise is unlike any other, the white sand beach and crystal-clear waters are perfect combination for a full day adventure!!
The journey starts in Los Suenos Marina located in Playa Herradura only 10 minutes from Jaco where you will be greeted by the friendly staff and registration booth, soon after check in you will be directed to a 54’ fast catamaran where you will be served a light breakfast (fresh costarican coffee, carrot muffin and fruit) prior departure.
Once you arrive at Tortuga Island you will provided with a beach char and umbrella, you will have time to explore the morning sun before heading for your first adventure of your day “ Snorkel Tour” (Snorkel time is 45min to 1 hour).
After this activity you will experience one of your best meals in town (rosemary grilled chicken, yellow costa rican rice, sautéed potatoes and two choices of salad).
Banana boat starts soon after lunch and then you will have the option of hiking up the mountain where you will find amazing views!
Did we mention you will be served free rum punches and margaritas all day?
This is a full day activity, you can choose to be on the active level participating in all activities or simply laying on the beach relaxing and enjoying the breeze! Perfect for families, solo travelers, couples, seniors. You are all welcome!

- Beachwear- rash-guard (if you have sensitive feet we recommend to bring water shoes)
- We recommend to bring hiking shoes however; the hike can be done using sandals
- Waterproof camera
- Extra cash (cash bar on board, gift shop or additional activities on the island)
